SALE! WILL NOT BE REPRINTED
The title of this quilt block and this design are the same "Star Spangled Banner". My inspiration for this design was a visit to Fort McHenry in Baltimore, MD.
After the events of Sept. 11, 2001 we are all united as a nation and I hope this feeling will continue and that all nations and peoples will learn to live in peace!
This chart includes two bonus charts called God Bless America and God Bless America Flags. They are not the same as the bonus charts in Stars and Stripes!
There are lots of ideas included in the chart for their use!
Stitch the Star Spangled Banner quilt block without the words to the side, just complete the border into a square shape and center the block.
Using waste canvas, stitch the Star Spangled Banner quilt block on the front of a sweatshirt or on the back of a denim shirt then stitch the small flag on the sleeve.
Personalize the blocks abound the Star Spangled Banner Quilt Block in memory of special events or special people in your life.
Change the colors to traditional red, white and blue!
Stitch the small flags on children's clothes using waste cloth.
Correction: I have written "at the twilight's last gleaming" when it should be "at the twilights last gleaming", the "I" in twilight has apparently been omitted. Please add the "I". Be sure to center that row of stitching by moving over to the left two spaces at the beginning of that line. Sorry for any confusion.
