And A Garden Grew
And A Garden Grew-sampler, garden sampler, and a garden grew, rosewood manorAnd A Garden Grew-sampler, garden sampler, and a garden grew, rosewood manor

One of my customers who was stitching "And A Forest Grew" suggested that I should work on a design called "And A Garden Grew".  When I found the verse written by Henry Ward Beecher, everything came together.

I hope you will enjoy stitching the may flowers, bees, butterflies and other garden creatures in this design.

Verse: "Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made, and forgot to put a soul into."

The booklet has 22 pages, which include lots of mini samplers and ideas for using this design.

Design size: 290 X 290 stitches
Fabric used: Picture This Plus, 32 ct Belfast Ale

ASK ABOUT FABRIC FOR THIS PIECE!

FABRIC NEEDS TO BE DARK ENOUGH SO THAT LIGHT FLOSS COLORS SHOW!

Correction:  In Section 1, the floss color for the entire stem of the tall flower (with the diamond shaped stem, next to the first butterfly, upper left-hand corner on chart) is DMC 935
